活動主題：

『環島單車2004'』是一個由香港自助旅行者協會屬下之環島單車2004籌委會籌劃的周年活動。協會舉辦周年活動的宗旨在於透過環島單車，向社會傳達對失明人士的關懷。

今年『環島單車2004』的主題是 " 踏出光明 "(Ride for Tomorrow)。在所有失明人士最害怕是黑暗，最希望能重見光明。我們想通過這次活動由晚上踏單車環繞香港島，踏出光明，令更多人知道失明人的需要和希望。

今年我們很榮幸邀請到奧比斯作為這此活動的受惠機構。通過這次活動所籌募到的款項會扣除行政費後會全數捐予奧比斯，藉此我們可直接將我們的關懷實質地傳到有需要的人士身上。

Theme of activity：

"Cycling Hong Kong 2004" is an annual event organized by the Cycling Hong Kong 2004 Organizing Committee under Hong Kong Backpackers' Association. The objective is to show our care towards the blind people in the community through this event.

This year, the theme of "Cycling Hong Kong 2004" is "Ride for Tomorrow". Many blind people are afraid of darkness, and they hope that they can see the light some day. By riding on a bicycle round the Hong Kong Island at night, we want to "ride for tomorrow", letting more people know about the needs and hope of the blind

We are pleased to have ORBIS International as our beneficiary this year. The donation collected in this activity will be treasured for supporting ORBIS after deducting the administration fee. We can then put our care towards the needy into practice.
