環島單車2003

『環島單車2003'』是一個由香港自助旅行者協會屬下之環島單車2003籌委會籌劃的周年活動。協會舉辦周年活動的宗旨在於透過環島單車，向社會傳達對失明人士的關懷。

今年『環島單車2003』的主題是 " 踏出光明 "(Ride for Tomorrow)。在所有失明人士最害怕是黑暗，最希望能重見光明。我們想通過這次活動由晚上踏單車環繞香港島，踏出光明，令更多人知道失明人的需要和希望。

今年我們很榮幸邀請到奧比斯作為這此活動的受惠機構。通過這次活動所籌募到的款項會扣除開支後會全數捐予奧比斯(Link)，藉此我們可直接將我們的關懷實質地傳到有需要的人士身上。

日期：二零零三年八月十六日至八月十七日(六、日)

時間：晚上十一時五十九分至翌日六時左右

名額：一百人

報名方法 Enrolment Method

參加者須填妥表格上所有資料，(1)連同捐款支票(抬頭：香港自助旅行者協會) 並在支票背面寫上姓名，身份證號碼，連同報名表格，寄回 (地址： "香港自助旅行者協會", 上環郵局33698號信箱)，或(2)匯豐銀行戶口 a/c: 405-061391-001，抬頭：香港自助旅行者協會，並將入數紙連同報名表格，寄回 "香港自助旅行者協會"　上環郵局33698號信箱)。資料不足或未付上所須支票的表格，恕不受理。(如有任何查詢，請致電 張俊笙 9312 1304/ 黃嘉豪 9041 1292)

Application: Fill appropriately in the Application Form attached downloaded from internet www.hkba-travel.org/cyclinghk.htm , send together with proofs of payment (with name and ID number on the back) to "Hong Kong Backpackers' Association" by mailing to Sheung Wan P.O. Box No. 33698.
Payment: 1. Mail your crossed cheque payable to "Hong Kong Backpackers' Association" with your application form to Sheung Wan P.O. Box No. 33698
2. Transfer payment to HSBC bank account: 405-061391-001. Mail the photocopy of the pay-in-slip to "Hong Kong Backpackers' Association" with your application form to Sheung Wan P.O. Box No. 33698

參加條件

1. 參加者聲明及保證(凡未滿18歲之參加者，必須監護人簽名同意)
本人現參加環島單車2003, 謹此一同聲明：本人會遵守所有關之活動規例 和主辦機構之臨時安排及倘於活動期間發生意外，包括死亡受傷或財物損失，本人將自行承擔一切責任。主辦機構，各贊助機構支付額外開支，本人保證願意對主辦機構作出合理之賠償。

2. 參加者保證籌款
本人謹此一同聲明並作出保證聲明：所有直接或間接從環島單車2003所得捐款，將悉數捐予「奧比斯」，作為慈善用途，亦保證不得以「環島單車2003」作為其他機構的捐款用途。

3. 參加者健康聲明
本人現參加環島單車2003, 謹此一同聲明：本人的身體壯況絕對適宜參加這活動，本機構將不會負責因參加者任何身體不佳而引起的任何問題，並本人將自行承擔一切責任。

1. Disclaimer and Indemnity
I wish to enter as an individual for Cycling 2003. I jointly and severally confirm and agree that I shall comply with all relevant rules and regulations and other ad-hoc arrangements made by the Organizer and shall take part in this event entirely at my own risk and that I shall not hold, or any sponsors/supporting organizations, responsible for any accident of whatsoever kind, resulting in death or injury, or for any damage to or loss or destruction of personal properties during the cause of the event. I also agree to indemnify or reimburse the organizer in respect of any additional expenses or costs incurred by the Organizer arising from or in connection with my participation in this event.

2. Undertaking to raise sponsorship
I jointly and severally undertake that all funds raised directly or indirectly from my participation in the Cycling 2003 will be paid in full to Orbis. I will not seek to raise funds for other charities through my participation in the said event.

3. I wish to enter as an individual for Cycling 2003. I jointly and severally confirm and agree that I have good condition.

註 Note：

1. 每位參加者必需籌募$150元以上，才可參加這次活動。
Each participant must collect minimum $150 in order to participate this event.

2. 請於支票、存款單正本背面清楚參加者姓名、身份證號碼、及聯絡電話號碼。
Please write clearly the participant name, ID card no., contact no. at the back of the cheque or cash deposit slip.

3. 請將填妥之贊助表格及劃線支票/存款正本於2003年8月10日或之前寄回上環郵局33698號信箱「香港自助旅行者協會」。

參加者須知

1. 參加者應懂得基本駕駛單車技術，能掌握上斜和落斜之技術。
2. 單車將會由大會供應，參加者不須自備單車。
3. 本會建議參加者可以自備一些安全設施如頭盔、護膝等。
4. 參加者應該在活動開始前檢查單車的性能是否良好，以確保活動時的安全。

註：
參加者不需自備單車，本會將會提供單車及車頭車尾燈等照明系統。
